Day 4 produced some typical Samui sailing conditions. Whilst light off Chaweng Bay, the start boat headed north and set the fleet a new startline between Samui and Phangan islands and the racers were underway.
Windward/ Leewards for IRC Zero, IRC One and Multihull classes, followed by longer passages races. IRC Two/ Bareboat and IPR Premier were sent on a single passage race.
Tight races and place swapping was the order of the day as a number of classes remain tight at the top going into the final day of racing at the 2012 Samui Regatta.
