Patinyakorn “Ging” Buranrom – first Thai skipper in the Transpac Race


The first-ever Thai entry in the Transpac Race, “Sansiri”, co-skippered by the first-ever Thai sailor to compete in a global ocean race (Patinyakorn “Ging” Buranrom), finished a triumphant third in their division after 12 and-a-half days at sea competing in the longest of the two oldest ocean races in the world – a race across the Pacific Ocean, from Los Angeles in America to Honolulu in Hawaii; a distance of 4,100km.
